" Hi! If you are a returning guest, you know how wonderful this place is and how terrific Cindy and Gregg are. If you are new (as we were) you are in for a real treat. Cindy and Gregg have created a real haven in this urban location. Pastime suites are clean, safe, well appointed, and a great place to kick back and enjoy a libation or two with your friendly neighbors. One exceptional guality is the sound proofing between units-what a plus!!
Additionally unit #3 is on the east side so it cools off pretty nicely in the afternoon and evening. At night get ready for a look at the stars!
Recommendations-if your first opportunity get to a welcome center by the university (free parking on the weekends) and purchase a "Tucson Attractions Passport" It is loaded with tons of 2-for-1 admissions to many, many local attractions. We saved a TON of money. We used it for:
Ok Corral, Old Tucson, Az sonoran Desert Museum, Tohono chul, and Kitt Peak National Observatory, We barely scratched the surface.
Some other sites we loved: San Xavier del Bac, Saguaro National Park, Sabino canyon, Rillito River Walk Turquoise Trail, Pima Air museum.
There are zillions of great restaurants and Lots of shopping here.

I've enjoyed many church experiences too-St Phillips in the Hills, St Augustine Cathedral, Yaqui Easter festival, San Xavier, and many others-each special in its own way.
Most of all the people in Tucson are warm and friendly. They make this lovely city even better.

"5 Stars. Should be 6 stars. Just a great place to stay. I originally thought I would be there 3 to 5 months while I looked for a house to buy. I was there 20 months. Cindy and Gregg are great owners. They will always go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. "Where do I begin? My entire stay in Tucson was working for my company. I needed everything since I didnt know how long I would be here. The house was close and convenient to my office. It was fully furnished.....and I mean fully! Pots, pans, dishes, ironing board, iron, plates, silverware.....you name it, it was there. The landlords were the nicest people I have ever met while traveling for my company. They made the entire process effortless. This was the easiest, most convenient stay I have had to make traveling for my company. It was such a pleasure that should I ever return to Tucson for vacation, I will definitely be contacting them again."

"We came here from NY for warmth and good medical care. We found warmth when Cindy and Greg welcomed us to our new home for the next two months. As promised everything we would need to start our stay was here. Cindy even included things like an apron, wine bottle opener and glasses, a crock pot, an electric can opener. This apartment complex is so convenient to car repair, dentists, doctors, shopping, food stores, fast food, fine dining, shopping, gas stations (sams club always has cheapest gas), car dealers (auto mall), movie theater (but you have satilite TV in Apartment). EVERYTHING anyone could need is on N. Oracle!. Did I forget to mintion SHOPPING!. The next best thing about staying here is the medical care. My husband had open heart surgery in NY but we came here for his rehab. Tucson has some of the best hospitals in the country with several just a few miles from the apartment. So enjoy your stay here (hopefully as much as we did) and safe travels where ever you go from here."

"We drove from the Chicagoland area, and we couldn't ask for a better place to live for a month. It is centrally located for hiking, Saguaro National park east, Saguaro National Park west, Sabino Canyon, Catalina State Park and madera Canyon across from Green Valley. Like golf, Dorado Country Club Golf course is affordable and an 18 hole executive course. Tubac is an artsy, crafty community off Hwy 19 south of Green Valley. On the way back to Tucson stop at Wisdom for a great Mexican meal. March is a great time to visit Tucson as there are many great weekend festivals. 311 Pastime provided us a great place to relax after a busy day. Cindy and Gregg respond to requests/concerns immediately. Electronic gate adds to the peaceful enviroment. Thank for a great month."

"Very seldom do you stay in a place where you immediately feel at home. But we did here. The condo is well equipped, clean and comfortable and the weather was wonderful. So much to see here, we were busy touring all the sights-Pima Air & Space Museum, Tital Missile Museum, Tombstone, Bisbee and Kartchner Caverns. Recommend lunch at Tucson Tamale Co. and supper at Guadalajara Restaurant. Cindy and Greg are great hosts. Definitely stay here again."

"This place is great, everything you need. Shopping and eats are close. The Rillito River Trail is a great place to walk, run or bike if you have one. Sabino Canyon Recreational Area is a place to do hiking, running or just go for a simple walk. We spent alot of time at these two places. Also a great place to visit Catalina State Park, Old Tucson Studios (take a whole day), Az-Sonora Desert Museum (1/2 day), International Wildlife Museum. Take a trip to Tubac, it is a great little town to walk around and shop or eat. We spent a lot of time in the outdoors. Soon we will be back to Northern Minnesota to cold & snow."

"Pastime Suites felt like a home away from home complete with two wonderful owners. From the frist email to the move-in experience and everything after that, they could not have been more professional, responsive or helpful. They said that they wanted to build in an ideal location in Tucson that is close to everything, and it's clear that this property was the right choice. Places close by include Mimi's Cafe, Jason's Deli, Olive Garden, many other restaurants, UPS. Fry's, Sunflower and Sprouts Markets, Walgreens, Walmart, Home Depot and Super Target. Any other stores can be found at the nearby Tucson Mall. Jacob's Park for picnics-it has an accessible playground-and Rio Vista Park for nature walks are nearby. Ten miles of beautiful trails that are part of the Rillito River Walk allow for hiking and biking, and the section accessed by 1st avenue and River Road is even shaded in the morning. Actually, everything is near that one would need within a 20 minute ride at most and usually within minutes by car, including major city sightseeing destinations and all that the U of A offers visitors. The duplexes afford comfort, attractiveness and convenience. The photos only hint at the spaciousness and quality of the interiors. The duplex was immaculately clean, neatly landscaped and stocked with everything needed-except food if you dont count condiments - to live there for a month. The area was safe and private, the owners were even in the process of installing a security gate. Cindy and Gregg are probably the best part of the rental. Cindy helped fit a water filter to their kitchen faucet and put lifters under the two front legs of the bed. She and Gregg also brought in an extra bed for my guest and fitted my bed with a cozy egg crate for sore hips. Cindy gave information and advice about the area and acted as if she were a longtime friend, while perfectly respecting privacy when no help was needed. They were both always very responsive. For example, Cindy suggested stores and restaurants and where to find a post office and mailbox close by, to name a few things. It felt very secure to be new in a city, knowing that they were so accommodating and available. With all the advantages of the duplex itself plus the caring service by Cindy and Gregg, anyone would love to stay at Pastime Suites and enjoy the quality, convenience, and superb value."

Being made to feel welcome was dearly a daily delight the entire month. the place is well built, well insulated, thoughtfully laid out, well furnished. Internet access was essential for me, and the entertainment center was fully up to date (I hear stories about satellite TV being unreliable during storms, but this is Tucson!), including a couple devices I haven't yet learned how to operate. Cindy and Gregg kindly offered good advice on restaurants, trips to Rocky Point, hiking nearby. I doubt there is anything a hotel in Tucson could do to get my business if this is an available alternative."

"We came here from NY for warmth and good medical care. We found warmth when Cindy and Greg welcomed us to our new home for the next two months. As promised everything we would need to start our stay was here. Cindy even included things like an apron, wine bottle opener and glasses, a crock pot, an electric can opener. This apartment complex is so convenient to car repair, dentists, doctors, shopping, food stores, fast food, fine dining, shopping, gas stations (sams club always has cheapest gas), car dealers (auto mall), movie theater (but you have satilite TV in Apartment). EVERYTHING anyone could need is on N. Oracle!. Did I forget to mintion SHOPPING!. The next best thing about staying here is the medical care. My husband had open heart surgery in NY but we came here for his rehab. Tucson has some of the best hospitals in the country with several just a few miles from the apartment. So enjoy your stay here (hopefully as much as we did) and safe travels where ever you go from here."

Like golf, Dorado Country Club Golf course is affordable and an 18 hole executive course. Tubac is an artsy, crafty community off Hwy 19 south of Green Valley. On the way back to Tucson stop at Wisdom for a great Mexican meal. March is a great time to visit Tucson as there are many great weekend festivals. 311 Pastime provided us a great place to relax after a busy day. Sabino Canyon Recreational Area is a place to do hiking, running or just go for a simple walk. We spent alot of time at these two places. Also a great place to visit Catalina State Park, Old Tucson Studios (take a whole day), Az-Sonora Desert Museum (1/2 day), International Wildlife Museum.
